This past week we conducted a Food Drive in our Heritage Ridge Community to donate food to the House of Neighborly Services.  We collected 722 lbs of canned and dry goods to help those in need in our community.  On behalf of the Heritage Ridge Metropolitan District Communications and Social Committee I would like to commend Denise Savage and Dawn Mattera Bassett for co-chairing this event, and all of our neighbors who volunteered their homes to be drop off sites:

Ken and Wendy Potts
Ron  and Joanne Hirsch
Jim and Kathy Ernsberger
Rob and Stacy Gill
Brett and Kim Clark
Mark and Suzanne Zens

and to the individuals in our community who were generous to provide the canned and dry goods for this event.  I think our entire community can feel good knowing that we have helped those in need and provided them with meals during this holiday season.

Thanks to All,

Doug Prato
Chair, HRMD Communications and Social Committee

We're doing a food drive for the House of Neighborly Services (HNS), which hosts the Food Bank in Berthoud!

As a community, we want to focus on doing activities that further develop relations with our next door neighbors.
A food drive is one activity which will support the city we live in and make sure the Food Bank is well stocked before the holiday season.
We will be collecting donations - food and toiletry items on November 10-12th, with a delivery date of November 14th.

Donation Map

The drop off locations for the HRMD Food donation collection are accessed by clicking the map above, or referencing the list below. Please be sure that you are both visiting with the household while donating and only dropping off donations between the hours of 9am and 8pm. We don’t want donations sitting out overnight without a homeowner unaware.
